Description
LTB Antibody (PACO23242)
The LTB Antibody (PAC023242) is a valuable tool for researchers studying LTB, a protein involved in immune responses and inflammatory pathways. This polyclonal antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific for human samples and has been validated for use in Western blotting applications. By binding to LTB, this antibody allows for the detection and analysis of LTB protein levels in a variety of cell types, making it an ideal choice for studies in immunology and inflammatory diseases.LTB, also known as lymphotoxin beta, is a cytokine that plays a key role in the regulation of immune responses and inflammation.
Its involvement in various disease processes, including autoimmunity and cancer, makes it a promising target for therapeutic interventions. By studying the activity of LTB, researchers can gain insights into the mechanisms underlying these diseases and potentially develop new treatment strategies to modulate immune responses effectively.Overall, the LTB Antibody (PAC023242) offers researchers a reliable tool to explore the functions of LTB in immune regulation and disease pathogenesis, paving the way for advancements in immunology and therapeutic development.

NCBI Summary: | Lymphotoxin beta is a type II membrane protein of the TNF family. It anchors lymphotoxin-alpha to the cell surface through heterotrimer formation. The predominant form on the lymphocyte surface is the lymphotoxin-alpha 1/beta 2 complex (e.g. 1 molecule alpha/2 molecules beta) and this complex is the primary ligand for the lymphotoxin-beta receptor. The minor complex is lymphotoxin-alpha 2/beta 1. LTB is an inducer of the inflammatory response system and involved in normal development of lymphoid tissue. Lymphotoxin-beta isoform b is unable to complex with lymphotoxin-alpha suggesting a function for lymphotoxin-beta which is independent of lympyhotoxin-alpha. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008] |
