The LOXL2 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (CAB4708) is a cutting-edge tool for researchers studying LOXL2, a key enzyme involved in extracellular matrix remodeling and fibrosis. This highly specific antibody, developed using rabbit monoclonal technology, shows exceptional reactivity with human samples and is validated for use in various experimental techniques, including Western blotting.LOXL2, a member of the lysyl oxidase family, plays a crucial role in tissue development and homeostasis by catalyzing the cross-linking of collagen and elastin fibers. Dysregulation of LOXL2 has been implicated in various diseases, including fibrosis, cancer, and cardiovascular disorders.
By targeting LOXL2 with this high-quality antibody, researchers can gain insights into the mechanisms underlying these pathological conditions and potentially identify novel therapeutic targets.Whether investigating the role of LOXL2 in cancer metastasis, fibrotic diseases, or tissue remodeling, the LOXL2 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (CAB4708) offers reliable and specific detection of this enzyme, making it an invaluable tool for advancing research in the fields of oncology, fibrosis, and tissue engineering.

A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence within amino acids 675-774 of human LOXL2 (Q9Y4K0).
This gene encodes a member of the lysyl oxidase gene family. The prototypic member of the family is essential to the biogenesis of connective tissue, encoding an extracellular copper-dependent amine oxidase that catalyses the first step in the formation of crosslinks in collagens and elastin. A highly conserved amino acid sequence at the C-terminus end appears to be sufficient for amine oxidase activity, suggesting that each family member may retain this function. The N-terminus is poorly conserved and may impart additional roles in developmental regulation, senescence, tumor suppression, cell growth control, and chemotaxis to each member of the family.
