The LNPEP Polyclonal Antibody (CAB11959) is a valuable tool for researchers studying LNPEP, a cell surface peptidase involved in immune regulation and inflammatory responses. This antibody, generated in rabbits, is highly specific for human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications.LNPEP is known for its role in modulating immune responses by processing peptides involved in inflammation and immune cell activation. It has been implicated in various diseases, including autoimmune disorders and cancer, making it a promising target for therapeutic interventions.
By utilizing the LNPEP Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can detect and analyze LNPEP expression in a variety of cell types, providing valuable insights into its function and potential role in disease pathogenesis. This antibody is an essential tool for advancing our understanding of LNPEP and its implications in immunology and cancer research.

This gene encodes a zinc-dependent aminopeptidase that cleaves vasopressin, oxytocin, lys-bradykinin, met-enkephalin, dynorphin A and other peptide hormones. The protein can be secreted in maternal serum, reside in intracellular vesicles with the insulin-responsive glucose transporter GLUT4, or form a type II integral membrane glycoprotein. The protein catalyzes the final step in the conversion of angiotensinogen to angiotensin IV (AT4) and is also a receptor for AT4. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
