The LMX1B Polyclonal Antibody (CAB6386) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the LMX1B protein, a transcription factor that plays a crucial role in development and differentiation processes. This antibody, developed through immunization of rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in various applications, including Western blot and immunohistochemistry.LMX1B is known for its involvement in the development of specific cell types, tissues, and organs, making it a key player in embryonic development and disease pathology. Dysregulation of LMX1B has been linked to several disorders, including nail-patella syndrome and glaucoma, highlighting its clinical significance.
With its ability to specifically bind to the LMX1B protein, this antibody enables accurate detection and analysis in a variety of cell types and tissues, making it an essential tool for researchers interested in developmental biology, genetics, and disease mechanisms. By studying the function and regulation of LMX1B, researchers may gain valuable insights into the pathways and molecular mechanisms underlying developmental disorders and potentially identify therapeutic targets for intervention.

Rat
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 136-395 of human LMX1B (NP_002307.2).
This gene encodes a member of LIM-homeodomain family of proteins containing two N-terminal zinc-binding LIM domains, 1 homeodomain, and a C-terminal glutamine-rich domain. It functions as a transcription factor, and is essential for the normal development of dorsal limb structures, the glomerular basement membrane, the anterior segment of the eye, and dopaminergic and serotonergic neurons. Mutations in this gene are associated with nail-patella syndrome. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
