The LMX1B Polyclonal Antibody (CAB14020) is a valuable tool for researchers studying LMX1-B, a transcription factor involved in the development and differentiation of dopaminergic neurons in the midbrain. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity when used with human samples and is validated for use in applications such as Western blotting.LMX1B is known to play a critical role in the regulation of neural development, particularly in the formation of midbrain structures involved in motor control and coordination. Dysregulation of LMX1B expression has been linked to neurodevelopmental disorders and movement-related conditions, making it an important target for further research in the fields of neuroscience and neurology.
By utilizing the LMX1B Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can study the expression levels and localization of LMX1B protein in various cell types and tissues, allowing for a better understanding of its function and potential implications in disease pathology. This antibody is a valuable asset for investigations into the molecular mechanisms underlying neural development and neurological disorders.

Human,Mouse,Rat
Immunogen:
A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence within amino acids 1-100 of human LMX1B (NP_001167618.1).
This gene encodes a member of LIM-homeodomain family of proteins containing two N-terminal zinc-binding LIM domains, 1 homeodomain, and a C-terminal glutamine-rich domain. It functions as a transcription factor, and is essential for the normal development of dorsal limb structures, the glomerular basement membrane, the anterior segment of the eye, and dopaminergic and serotonergic neurons. Mutations in this gene are associated with nail-patella syndrome. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
