Description
LGR5 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB24460)
The LGR5 Polyclonal Antibody is a vital tool for researchers studying the LGR5 protein, a marker of stem cells in various tissues including the intestines and hair follicles. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications. By specifically binding to the LGR5 protein, this antibody enables the detection and analysis of LGR5 expression in different cell types, making it ideal for research in regenerative medicine, developmental biology, and cancer biology.LGR5, also known as leucine-rich repeat-containing G-protein coupled receptor 5, plays a crucial role in tissue regeneration and stem cell maintenance.
Its presence in stem cells makes it a valuable target for researchers aiming to understand the mechanisms underlying tissue repair and regeneration. By studying the expression and function of LGR5, scientists can gain insight into potential therapeutic strategies for regenerative medicine and cancer treatment.Overall, the LGR5 Polyclonal Antibody provides researchers with a powerful tool to investigate the role of LGR5 in stem cell biology and tissue regeneration, offering new possibilities for advancing our understanding of cellular processes and disease pathology.

The protein encoded by this gene is a leucine-rich repeat-containing receptor (LGR) and member of the G protein-coupled, 7-transmembrane receptor (GPCR) superfamily. The encoded protein is a receptor for R-spondins and is involved in the canonical Wnt signaling pathway. This protein plays a role in the formation and maintenance of adult intestinal stem cells during postembryonic development. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
