The LGI2 Polyclonal Antibody (PACO56034) is a valuable tool for researchers studying LGI2, a protein involved in synaptic transmission and neuronal development. This antibody, raised in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human, mouse, and rat samples, and is validated for use in various applications including Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence.LGI2, also known as leucine-rich glioma-inactivated 2, is a secreted protein that plays a critical role in promoting synaptic connectivity and neuronal survival.
Dysregulation of LGI2 has been associated with neurological disorders such as epilepsy and schizophrenia, making it a promising target for therapeutic interventions. The LGI2 Polyclonal Antibody enables researchers to detect and analyze LGI2 expression levels in different cell types and tissues, facilitating investigations into the mechanisms underlying these disorders and potential treatment strategies.

IHC image of PACO56034 diluted at 1:100 and staining in paraffin-embedded human brain tissue performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a biotinylated secondary antibody and visualized using an HRP conjugated SP system.
