The LETM1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB15685) is specifically designed for research involving LETM1, a mitochondrial inner membrane protein linked to mitochondrial ion transport and maintaining calcium homeostasis. This antibody, raised in rabbits, is highly reactive with human, mouse, and rat samples, and is validated for use in immunofluorescence and Western blot applications.LETM1 is a critical player in mitochondrial function, influencing cell metabolism, apoptosis, and cell survival. Dysregulation of LETM1 has been associated with various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and cancer.
Studying the expression and function of LETM1 can provide valuable insights into mitochondrial dysfunction and its implications in these pathologies. This polyclonal antibody binds to LETM1, enabling researchers to detect and analyze its expression in different cell types. Its versatility and specificity make it an essential tool for investigating the role of LETM1 in mitochondrial biology, cell physiology, and disease pathogenesis. Researchers in the fields of cell biology, biochemistry, and neurology will find this antibody invaluable for their studies.
Product Name:
LETM1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB15685
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit
Reactivity:
Human,Mouse,Rat
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-140 of human LETM1 (NP_036450.1).
This gene encodes a protein that is localized to the inner mitochondrial membrane. The protein functions to maintain the mitochondrial tubular shapes and is required for normal mitochondrial morphology and cellular viability. Mutations in this gene cause Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome, a complex malformation syndrome caused by the deletion of parts of the distal short arm of chromosome 4. Related pseudogenes have been identified on chromosomes 8, 15 and 19.
Purification Method:
Affinity purification
Gene ID:
