The LEPREL1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB8068) is designed for research involving LEPREL1, a protein involved in collagen biosynthesis and extracellular matrix remodeling. This antibody, raised in rabbits, is highly reactive with human samples and is validated for use in various applications such as Western blot and immunohistochemistry.LEPREL1, also known as collagen prolyl 3-hydroxylase 3, plays a critical role in collagen synthesis by catalyzing the post-translational modification of proline residues. This process is essential for the stability and function of collagen, a key component of connective tissues in the body.
Dysregulation of LEPREL1 has been linked to various diseases, including connective tissue disorders and cancer. The LEPREL1 Polyclonal Antibody enables the detection and analysis of LEPREL1 protein levels in different cell types and tissues, making it an invaluable tool for researchers studying collagen biology, extracellular matrix dynamics, and related pathologies. By investigating the function and regulation of LEPREL1, researchers can gain insights into potential therapeutic targets for conditions associated with collagen abnormalities.
Product Name:
LEPREL1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB8068
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit

Human,Mouse,Rat
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 400-700 of human LEPREL1 (NP_060662.2).
This gene encodes a member of the prolyl 3-hydroxylase subfamily of 2-oxo-glutarate-dependent dioxygenases. These enzymes play a critical role in collagen chain assembly, stability and cross-linking by catalyzing post-translational 3-hydroxylation of proline residues. Mutations in this gene are associated with nonsyndromic severe myopia with cataract and vitreoretinal degeneration, and downregulation of this gene may play a role in breast cancer. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene.
