The LDHA Monoclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for researchers studying lactate dehydrogenase A (LDHA), an enzyme involved in the conversion of lactate to pyruvate in the glycolysis pathway. This antibody, produced using monoclonal technology, specifically targets LDHA and is highly reactive with human samples. Validated for use in various applications such as Western blotting and immunohistochemistry, this antibody enables the detection and analysis of LDHA expression in different cell types. Its versatility and specificity make it an ideal choice for studies focused on metabolism, cancer research, and other related fields.
LDHA is a key player in cellular metabolism, with dysregulation of its activity implicated in various diseases, including cancer. By studying the expression and function of LDHA using this monoclonal antibody, researchers can gain insights into the role of this enzyme in health and disease, potentially leading to the development of novel therapeutic strategies targeting LDHA.

The protein encoded by this gene catalyzes the conversion of L-lactate and NAD to pyruvate and NADH in the final step of anaerobic glycolysis. The protein is found predominantly in muscle tissue and belongs to the lactate dehydrogenase family. Mutations in this gene have been linked to exertional myoglobinuria. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. The human genome contains several non-transcribed pseudogenes of this gene.
