The LATS2 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB16249) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the LATS2 protein, a key component in the Hippo signaling pathway that regulates cell growth and apoptosis. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific for human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the LATS2 protein, this antibody enables researchers to detect and analyze LATS2 expression in various cell types, making it ideal for studies in cancer biology and cell signaling.LATS2, a tumor suppressor gene, plays a crucial role in controlling cell proliferation and maintaining genomic stability.
Dysregulation of LATS2 has been implicated in various cancers, making it a promising target for therapeutic intervention. By studying the function of LATS2 using this polyclonal antibody, researchers can gain insight into the mechanisms underlying tumorigenesis and potentially identify new therapeutic strategies for cancer treatment.Overall, the CAB16249 LATS2 Polyclonal Antibody offers researchers a powerful tool for investigating the role of LATS2 in cancer biology and cell signaling pathways, providing valuable insights that could lead to the development of novel cancer therapies.

This gene encodes a serine/threonine protein kinase belonging to the LATS tumor suppressor family. The protein localizes to centrosomes during interphase, and early and late metaphase. It interacts with the centrosomal proteins aurora-A and ajuba and is required for accumulation of gamma-tubulin and spindle formation at the onset of mitosis. It also interacts with a negative regulator of p53 and may function in a positive feedback loop with p53 that responds to cytoskeleton damage. Additionally, it can function as a co-repressor of androgen-responsive gene expression.
