The LAMB3 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB13663) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the LAMB3 protein, a key component of laminin-332 involved in cell adhesion and migration processes. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for Western blot applications. By specifically binding to the LAMB3 protein, researchers can easily detect and analyze its expression in various cell types, making it ideal for studies in cell biology and cancer research.
LAMB3 is a critical protein in maintaining the integrity and stability of the skin and mucous membranes, making it essential for wound healing and tissue regeneration. Dysregulation of LAMB3 expression has been associated with various skin disorders, including epidermolysis bullosa, highlighting its importance in maintaining skin health. Understanding the role of LAMB3 can provide insights into potential therapeutic targets for treating skin-related diseases and advancing regenerative medicine.

Human,Rat
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 762-1004 of human LAMB3 (NP_000219.2).
The product encoded by this gene is a laminin that belongs to a family of basement membrane proteins. This protein is a beta subunit laminin, which together with an alpha and a gamma subunit, forms laminin-5. Mutations in this gene cause epidermolysis bullosa junctional Herlitz type, and generalized atrophic benign epidermolysis bullosa, diseases that are characterized by blistering of the skin. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants that encode the same protein have been found for this gene.
