The KRT15 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB2660) is a valuable tool for researchers studying KRT15, a keratin protein known for its role in cell structure and function, particularly in epithelial tissues. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By specifically binding to the KRT15 protein, this antibody allows for accurate detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it an ideal choice for studies in dermatology, stem cell research, and cancer biology.
KRT15 is a key player in maintaining the structural integrity of epithelial cells, and its dysregulation has been implicated in various skin disorders and diseases, including cancer. Research into the function and regulation of KRT15 is essential for advancing our understanding of epithelial biology and developing targeted therapies for dermatological conditions and cancers. The KRT15 Polyclonal Antibody provides a reliable tool for investigating the role of KRT15 in these contexts, paving the way for new insights and potential treatment strategies.

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the keratin gene family. The keratins are intermediate filament proteins responsible for the structural integrity of epithelial cells and are subdivided into cytokeratins and hair keratins. Most of the type I cytokeratins consist of acidic proteins which are arranged in pairs of heterotypic keratin chains and are clustered in a region on chromosome 17q21.2.
