The MAP2K4 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB14781) is specifically designed for research involving MAP2K4, a protein kinase that plays a crucial role in various cellular processes such as cell growth, differentiation, and apoptosis. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly reactive with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications.MAP2K4, also known as dual specificity mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase 4, is involved in the MAPK signaling pathway and is essential for the regulation of cell proliferation and survival.
Dysregulation of MAP2K4 has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, making it an attractive target for therapeutic intervention.By using the MAP2K4 Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can effectively detect and analyze MAP2K4 protein levels in different cell types, providing valuable insights into its role in disease development and progression. This antibody is ideal for studies in cancer biology, signal transduction, and drug discovery, ultimately contributing to the advancement of precision medicine.

This gene encodes a member of the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) family. Members of this family act as an integration point for multiple biochemical signals and are involved in a wide variety of cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, transcription regulation, and development. They form a three-tiered signaling module composed of MAPKKKs, MAPKKs, and MAPKs. This protein is phosphorylated at serine and threonine residues by MAPKKKs and subsequently phosphorylates downstream MAPK targets at threonine and tyrosine residues. A similar protein in mouse has been reported to play a role in liver organogenesis. A pseudogene of this gene is located on the long arm of chromosome X. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
