The DIAPH1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB18081) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the DIAPH1 protein, a member of the formin family of proteins involved in actin cytoskeleton dynamics. This rabbit polyclonal antibody is validated for use in various applications, including Western blot, immunofluorescence, and immunohistochemistry. It specifically targets the DIAPH1 protein, allowing for precise detection and analysis in a variety of cell types.DIAPH1 plays a critical role in cell migration, cell polarity, and cytokinesis, making it an important protein in cellular processes such as tumor invasion and metastasis.
Its involvement in cytoskeletal organization and cell motility makes it a promising target for cancer research and drug development. By understanding the function and regulation of DIAPH1, researchers can gain insights into its role in cancer progression and potentially identify therapeutic targets to inhibit its activity. Overall, the DIAPH1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB18081) provides a valuable tool for scientists investigating the cellular functions and implications of DIAPH1 in various biological processes, particularly in the context of cancer research and metastasis.

This gene is a homolog of the Drosophila diaphanous gene, and has been linked to autosomal dominant, fully penetrant, nonsyndromic sensorineural progressive low-frequency hearing loss. Actin polymerization involves proteins known to interact with diaphanous protein in Drosophila and mouse. It has therefore been speculated that this gene may have a role in the regulation of actin polymerization in hair cells of the inner ear. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been found for this gene.
