Description
Anti-CDA Antibody (CAB19846)[KO Validated]
The KO Validated CDA Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (CAB19846) is a powerful tool for researchers studying CD300A, an important cell surface molecule involved in immune regulation. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is specifically designed to target the CD300A protein in human samples, making it ideal for Western blot applications. By detecting and analyzing CD300A in various cell types, researchers can gain valuable insights into immune responses, inflammation, and allergic reactions.
CD300A, also known as an immune inhibitory receptor, plays a crucial role in maintaining immune homeostasis and modulating immune function. Its involvement in diseases such as cancer, autoimmune disorders, and chronic inflammatory conditions makes it a promising target for therapeutic development. By using the KO Validated CDA Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can further explore the role of CD300A in immunology and cancer research, paving the way for new treatment strategies.

Background: | This gene encodes an enzyme involved in pyrimidine salvaging. The encoded protein forms a homotetramer that catalyzes the irreversible hydrolytic deamination of cytidine and deoxycytidine to uridine and deoxyuridine, respectively. It is one of several deaminases responsible for maintaining the cellular pyrimidine pool. Mutations in this gene are associated with decreased sensitivity to the cytosine nucleoside analogue cytosine arabinoside used in the treatment of certain childhood leukemias. |
UniProt Protein Function: | CDA: This enzyme scavenge exogenous and endogenous cytidine and 2'-deoxycytidine for UMP synthesis. Belongs to the cytidine and deoxycytidylate deaminase family. |
