The KLRC4 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB14807) is specifically designed for research involving KLRC4, a cell surface receptor known for its role in immune regulation. Raised in rabbits, this antibody is highly reactive with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. It binds to the KLRC4 protein, allowing for the detection and analysis of this molecule in various cell types, making it an excellent tool for studies in immunology and cancer research.KLRC4, also referred to as NKG2F, is a key player in immune regulation, influencing immune responses and potentially serving as a therapeutic target in diseases such as cancer and autoimmune disorders.
By understanding the function of KLRC4, researchers can uncover new possibilities for immune modulation and the development of novel treatments in a variety of pathological conditions.Overall, the KLRC4 Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for investigating the role of KLRC4 in immune response modulation and disease pathogenesis, offering insights that could lead to advancements in therapeutic interventions.

Natural killer (NK) cells are lymphocytes that can mediate lysis of certain tumor cells and virus-infected cells without previous activation. They can also regulate specific humoral and cell-mediated immunity. NK cells preferentially express several calcium-dependent (C-type) lectins, which have been implicated in the regulation of NK cell function. This gene is a member of the NKG2 group of genes that are expressed primarily in natural killer (NK) cells. These family members encode transmembrane proteins that are characterized by a type II membrane orientation (have an extracellular C-terminus) and the presence of a C-type lectin domain. This family member is located within the NK complex, a region that contains several C-type lectin genes preferentially expressed in NK cells. Read-through transcription exists between this gene and the downstream KLRK1 (killer cell lectin-like receptor subfamily K, member 1) family member.
