The KLF8 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB16321) is a crucial tool for researchers studying KLF8, a transcription factor involved in various cellular processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity towards human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications.KLF8, also known as Kruppel-like factor 8, plays a significant role in cancer development and progression by regulating genes involved in cell cycle control and metastasis. Its dysregulation has been linked to various types of cancer, including breast, lung, and ovarian cancers.
The KLF8 Polyclonal Antibody enables the detection and analysis of KLF8 protein levels in different cell types, making it an invaluable tool for oncology research.By understanding the role of KLF8 in cancer biology, researchers can potentially identify new therapeutic targets and develop novel treatment strategies for combating cancer progression. The KLF8 Polyclonal Antibody is essential for investigating the molecular mechanisms underlying KLF8 activity and its implications in cancer pathogenesis.
Product Name:
KLF8 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Human,Mouse,Rat
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 210-280 of human KLF8 (NP_009181.2).
This gene encodes a protein which is a member of the Sp/KLF family of transcription factors. Members of this family contain a C-terminal DNA-binding domain with three Kruppel-like zinc fingers. The encoded protein is thought to play an important role in the regulation of epithelial to mesenchymal transition, a process which occurs normally during development but also during metastasis. A pseudogene has been identified on chromosome 16. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
