Description
KLF4 Monoclonal Antibody [PAT4E6AT] (CPAB0565)
The KLF4 Polyclonal Antibody (CPAB0565) is a crucial tool for researchers studying KLF4, a transcription factor involved in various cellular processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and stem cell pluripotency. This antibody, developed in rabbits, is highly specific for human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot and immunohistochemistry applications. By binding to the KLF4 protein, this antibody allows for the detection and analysis of KLF4 expression in a wide range of cell types.KLF4, also known as Kruppel-like factor 4, plays a key role in regulating gene expression and cell fate decisions, making it a significant player in development, tissue homeostasis, and disease.
Its involvement in stem cell maintenance and differentiation has implications for regenerative medicine and cancer research, where aberrant KLF4 expression can contribute to tumorigenesis and disease progression. Investigating the function of KLF4 using this antibody can provide valuable insights into cellular processes and potential therapeutic targets in various pathologies.

Background: | KLF4 (aka the gut-enriched Kruppel-like factor-GKLF), is a zinc finger-containing transcription factor which is a member of the Kruppel-like family of transcription factors. KLF4 plays key roles during the proliferation and differentiation of epithelial cells. Particularly, it is found mainly in the gut and has been shown to be expressed during growth arrest. KLF4 is also involved in cell cycle control since expression of KLF4 inhibits DNA synthesis by blocking the G1/S phase of the cell cycle. |
