Description
KCND3 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (CAB6927)
The KCND3 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB6927) is a vital tool for researchers studying the potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily D member 3 protein, which plays a key role in regulating the flow of potassium ions in cells. This antibody, generated in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity when detecting KCND3 in human samples, making it an excellent choice for Western blot applications.By targeting the KCND3 protein, this antibody allows for the precise detection and analysis of potassium channel activity in various cell types, providing valuable insights into the role of KCND3 in cellular function and disease processes.
With implications in areas such as neuroscience, cardiac biology, and cancer research, the KCND3 Polyclonal Antibody is an essential tool for understanding the impact of potassium channels on cellular physiology and disease progression.

Voltage-gated potassium (Kv) channels represent the most complex class of voltage-gated ion channels from both functional and structural standpoints. Their diverse functions include regulating neurotransmitter release, heart rate, insulin secretion, neuronal excitability, epithelial electrolyte transport, smooth muscle contraction, and cell volume. Four sequence-related potassium channel genes - shaker, shaw, shab, and shal - have been identified in Drosophila, and each has been shown to have human homolog(s). This gene encodes a member of the potassium channel, voltage-gated, shal-related subfamily, members of which form voltage-activated A-type potassium ion channels and are prominent in the repolarization phase of the action potential. This member includes two isoforms with different sizes, which are encoded by alternatively spliced transcript variants of this gene.
