The JUP Polyclonal Antibody (CAB0963) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the protein junction plakoglobin (JUP). JUP is a key component of cell-cell adhesion complexes and is involved in maintaining tissue integrity and signaling pathways in various cell types. This antibody, generated in rabbits, is highly specific to JUP in human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to JUP, researchers can detect and analyze the protein in different cell types, making it ideal for studies in cell biology, developmental biology, and cancer research.
JUP has been implicated in a variety of diseases, including cancer, heart disease, and skin disorders, making it a promising target for therapeutic interventions. Understanding the role of JUP in cell adhesion and signaling pathways is crucial for developing novel treatments for these conditions. The JUP Polyclonal Antibody provides researchers with a powerful tool to further investigate the function of JUP and its implications in disease pathology.
Product Name:
γ-Catenin Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB0963
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit

Human,Mouse
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-300 of human γ-Catenin (NP_002221.1).
This gene encodes a major cytoplasmic protein which is the only known constituent common to submembranous plaques of both desmosomes and intermediate junctions. This protein forms distinct complexes with cadherins and desmosomal cadherins and is a member of the catenin family since it contains a distinct repeating amino acid motif called the armadillo repeat. Mutation in this gene has been associated with Naxos disease. Alternative splicing occurs in this gene; however, not all transcripts have been fully described.
