The JNK3 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB17408) is specifically designed for research involving JNK3, a member of the c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK) family known for its role in regulating various cellular processes, including cell proliferation, apoptosis, and inflammation. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the JNK3 protein, this antibody enables precise detection and analysis in different cell types, making it an essential tool for studies in the fields of molecular biology, cell signaling, and neuroscience.
JNK3, a key player in stress response pathways, is implicated in various diseases, including cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and inflammatory conditions. By understanding the functions and regulatory mechanisms of JNK3, researchers can uncover potential therapeutic targets for these diseases and develop novel treatment strategies. The JNK3 Polyclonal Antibody serves as a valuable tool for investigating the complex roles of JNK3 in cellular signaling pathways and disease pathogenesis, ultimately advancing our understanding of these conditions and paving the way for innovative therapeutic interventions.

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the MAP kinase family. MAP kinases act as integration points for multiple biochemical signals, and thus are involved in a wide variety of cellular processes, such as proliferation, differentiation, transcription regulation and development. This kinase is specifically expressed in a subset of neurons in the nervous system, and is activated by threonine and tyrosine phosphorylation. Targeted deletion of this gene in mice suggests that it may have a role in stress-induced neuronal apoptosis. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described for this gene. A recent study provided evidence for translational readthrough in this gene, and expression of an additional C-terminally extended isoform via the use of an alternative in-frame translation termination codon.
