The JNK1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB2462) is a vital tool for researchers studying the JNK1 protein, a key player in cellular signaling pathways involved in stress responses, inflammation, and apoptosis. This antibody, generated in rabbits, demonstrates high specificity and sensitivity for detecting JNK1 in human samples and is validated for use in Western blot assays.JNK1, a member of the c-Jun N-terminal kinase family, is known for its crucial roles in regulating diverse cellular processes, including cell growth, survival, and differentiation. Dysregulation of JNK1 activity has been implicated in various diseases, such as cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and diabetes.
Therefore, studying the functions and mechanisms of JNK1 is essential for identifying potential therapeutic targets and strategies for treating these conditions.By utilizing the JNK1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB2462), researchers can investigate the expression levels and activity of JNK1 in different cell types and tissues, providing valuable insights into its biological functions and signaling pathways. This antibody is a valuable tool for studies in cell biology, molecular biology, and pharmacology, offering a deeper understanding of the complex roles of JNK1 in health and disease.

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the MAP kinase family. MAP kinases act as an integration point for multiple biochemical signals, and are involved in a wide variety of cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, transcription regulation and development. This kinase is activated by various cell stimuli, and targets specific transcription factors, and thus mediates immediate-early gene expression in response to cell stimuli. The activation of this kinase by tumor-necrosis factor alpha (TNF-alpha) is found to be required for TNF-alpha induced apoptosis. This kinase is also involved in UV radiation induced apoptosis, which is thought to be related to cytochrom c-mediated cell death pathway. Studies of the mouse counterpart of this gene suggested that this kinase play a key role in T cell proliferation, apoptosis and differentiation. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been reported.
