The JMJD7 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB7408) is a valuable tool for researchers studying JMJD7, a protein involved in epigenetic regulation and gene expression. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity towards human samples, making it suitable for use in Western blot and immunohistochemistry applications. By binding to the JMJD7 protein, this antibody enables precise detection and analysis in various cellular contexts, offering insights into the function and potential therapeutic targeting of JMJD7 in cancer and other diseases.
JMJD7, a member of the Jumonji C domain-containing protein family, is known to play a role in chromatin modification and transcriptional regulation. Its dysregulation has been linked to various diseases, including cancer, indicating its potential as a target for novel therapeutic interventions. Understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying JMJD7 activity is essential for advancing research in epigenetics and drug development in oncology and other fields.
Product Name:
JMJD7 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB7408
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit

Human,Mouse,Rat
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-316 of human JMJD7 (NP_001108104.1).
This gene encodes a highly conserved protein with a JmjC domain, which are part of the cupin metalloenzyme superfamily. JmjC proteins may function as 2-oxoglutarate-Fe(II)-dependent dioxygenases. Most tissues also express read-through transcripts from this gene into the downstream phospholipase A2, group IVB (cytosolic) gene, some of which may encode fusion proteins combining the N-terminus of this protein with the phospholipase A2, group IVB protein.
