The IP6K2 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB13427) is a valuable tool for researchers studying IP6K2, a protein involved in cellular signaling pathways and regulation. This antibody, produced in rabbits, demonstrates high reactivity with human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications. By specifically binding to the IP6K2 protein, this antibody enables accurate detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it ideal for investigations in cell biology and signal transduction research.IP6K2, also known as inositol hexakisphosphate kinase 2, plays a crucial role in cellular processes such as cell growth, apoptosis, and metabolism.
Dysregulation of IP6K2 has been linked to various diseases, making it a potential target for therapeutic interventions. Understanding the function and regulation of IP6K2 is essential for developing treatments for conditions such as cancer, diabetes, and neurodegenerative disorders. The IP6K2 Polyclonal Antibody provides researchers with a reliable tool for exploring the role of IP6K2 in these and other disease contexts.

Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-180 of human IP6K2 (NP_057375.2).
This gene encodes a protein that belongs to the inositol phosphokinase (IPK) family. This protein is likely responsible for the conversion of inositol hexakisphosphate (InsP6) to diphosphoinositol pentakisphosphate (InsP7/PP-InsP5). It may also convert 1,3,4,5,6-pentakisphosphate (InsP5) to PP-InsP4 and affect the growth suppressive and apoptotic activities of interferon-beta in some ovarian cancers. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
