Description
ING2 Monoclonal Antibody [PAT39E5AT] (CPAB0600)
The ING2 Polyclonal Antibody (CPAB0600) is a crucial tool for researchers studying the ING2 protein, which is involved in various cellular processes including DNA repair, cell cycle regulation, and apoptosis. This antibody, produced in rabbits, demonstrates high specificity and sensitivity towards human samples, making it ideal for Western blotting and immunohistochemistry applications.ING2, a member of the inhibitor of growth (ING) family, has been linked to cancer development and progression, making it a promising target for cancer research.
Its role in DNA damage response and epigenetic regulation highlights its importance in understanding tumorigenesis and identifying potential therapeutic strategies. The ING2 Polyclonal Antibody enables accurate detection and analysis of the ING2 protein, facilitating research in cancer biology and molecular mechanisms underlying tumorigenesis.

Background: | Inhibitor of Growth Family, Member 2 (ING2) belongs to the inhibitor of growth (ING) family. ING family members associate with and modulate the activity of histone acetyltransferase (HAT) and histone deacetylase (HDAC) complexes and serve in DNA repair and apoptosis. ING2 appears to be involved in p53/TP53 activation and p53/TP53-dependent apoptotic pathways, most likely by enhancing acetylation of p53/TP53. ING2 is a component of an mSin3A-like corepressor complex, which is probably involved in deacetylation of nucleosomal histones. ING2 activity is modulated by binding to phosphoinositides (PtdInsPs). |
