Description
Influenza-A H5N1 Monoclonal Antibody [IA-H5N1] (CPAB0390)
The Influenza A H5N1 Antibody (CPAB0390) is a specialized antibody designed for researchers studying the H5N1 strain of the influenza A virus. With a specific focus on the highly pathogenic nature of the H5N1 virus, this antibody is raised in rabbits and exhibits high reactivity with samples related to this strain.Validated for use in various research applications, including Western blotting, the Influenza A H5N1 Antibody binds specifically to proteins associated with the H5N1 virus, allowing for accurate detection and analysis in a range of biological samples.
This antibody is essential for studies related to virology, infectious diseases, and vaccine development.Given the severe impact of the H5N1 virus on human health, understanding the molecular mechanisms of this strain is crucial for designing effective antiviral strategies and public health measures. With its high specificity and reliability, the Influenza A H5N1 Antibody (CPAB0390) is a valuable tool for advancing research in the field of influenza virology.

Background: | Influenza A virus subtype H5N1 is a subtype of the Influenza A virus. Subtype H5N1 is commonly known as avian influenza or bird flu. H5N1 may cause more than one influenza pandemic as it is expected to continue mutating in birds. The dominant strain of HPAI A (H5N1) evolved creating the Z genotype. It has also been called Asian lineage HPAI/A/H5N1 which is divided into 2 antigenic clades. "Clade 1 includes human and bird isolates from Vietnam, Thailand, and Cambodia and bird isolates from Laos and Malaysia. Clade 2 viruses were first identified in bird isolates from China, Indonesia, Japan, and South Korea before spreading westward to the Middle East, Europe, and Africa. |
