The IL5RA Polyclonal Antibody (CAB8552) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the IL-5 receptor alpha (IL5RA) protein, which plays a crucial role in the immune response, specifically in the regulation of eosinophil activation and differentiation. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications.IL5RA is a key player in allergic inflammatory responses and is implicated in diseases such as asthma and allergic rhinitis. By targeting IL5RA, researchers can gain insights into the mechanisms of allergic diseases and develop potential therapeutic interventions.
The IL5RA Polyclonal Antibody enables the detection and analysis of IL5RA protein expression in various cell types, making it an essential tool for immunology and allergy research.By understanding the function and regulation of IL5RA, researchers can uncover new strategies for treating allergic and inflammatory conditions, ultimately improving patient outcomes and quality of life. Whether investigating the pathogenesis of allergies or developing novel therapeutics, the IL5RA Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable resource for advancing research in immunology and allergy-related fields.

The protein encoded by this gene is an interleukin 5 specific subunit of a heterodimeric cytokine receptor. The receptor is comprised of a ligand specific alpha subunit and a signal transducing beta subunit shared by the receptors for interleukin 3 (IL3), colony stimulating factor 2 (CSF2/GM-CSF), and interleukin 5 (IL5). The binding of this protein to IL5 depends on the beta subunit. The beta subunit is activated by the ligand binding, and is required for the biological activities of IL5. This protein has been found to interact with syndecan binding protein (syntenin), which is required for IL5 mediated activation of the transcription factor SOX4. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding four distinct isoforms have been reported.
