The IL36G Polyclonal Antibody (CAB8304) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the IL36G protein, which is a member of the interleukin-1 family known for its pro-inflammatory properties. This antibody, produced in rabbits, demonstrates high reactivity with human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications. By specifically binding to the IL36G protein, this antibody allows for accurate detection and analysis in various cell types, making it ideal for investigations in immunology and inflammatory conditions.IL36G is a key player in the regulation of inflammatory responses, particularly in the skin and mucosal tissues. Its involvement in triggering inflammatory pathways makes it a promising target for research related to conditions such as psoriasis, inflammatory bowel disease, and asthma.
Understanding the role of IL36G in these diseases is crucial for the development of targeted therapies that can modulate inflammatory processes effectively. In conclusion, the IL36G Polyclonal Antibody (CAB8304) provides researchers with a reliable tool for investigating the function and regulation of the IL36G protein in various biological processes and disease states. Its high specificity and reactivity make it an essential component for studies aiming to unravel the complexities of inflammation and immune responses mediated by IL36G.

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the interleukin 1 cytokine family. The activity of this cytokine is mediated by interleukin 1 receptor-like 2 (IL1RL2/IL1R-rp2), and is specifically inhibited by interleukin 1 family, member 5 (IL1F5/IL-1 delta). Interferon-gamma, tumor necrosis factor-alpha and interleukin 1, beta (IL1B) are reported to stimulate the expression of this cytokine in keratinocytes. The expression of this cytokine in keratinocytes can also be induced by a contact hypersensitivity reaction or herpes simplex virus infection. This gene and eight other interleukin 1 family genes form a cytokine gene cluster on chromosome 2.
