IL18R1/IL-18 R alpha Monoclonal Antibody (CAB21208)
The IL18R1 (IL-18 R alpha) Monoclonal Antibody (CAB21208) is a vital tool for researchers studying the IL18R1 protein, which is a cell surface receptor involved in inflammatory responses and immune regulation. This antibody, produced using advanced monoclonal technology, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity for detecting IL18R1 in human samples through methods such as Western blotting. By targeting the IL18R1 protein, researchers can gain insights into its functions in various cellular processes, particularly in the context of immune responses and inflammatory diseases.IL18R1, also known as the IL-18 receptor alpha chain, is a key component of the IL-18 signaling pathway, which plays a crucial role in mediating inflammation and immune responses.
Dysregulation of this pathway has been implicated in various diseases, including autoimmune disorders, infectious diseases, and inflammatory conditions. By studying IL18R1 using this monoclonal antibody, researchers can uncover potential therapeutic targets for controlling immune responses and developing treatments for related disorders.Overall, the IL18R1 (IL-18 R alpha) Monoclonal Antibody (CAB21208) is a valuable tool for researchers interested in exploring the roles of IL18R1 in health and disease. Its high specificity and reliability make it an essential component of studies aimed at understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying immune regulation and inflammation, paving the way for novel therapeutic interventions in the future.

The protein encoded by this gene is a cytokine receptor that belongs to the interleukin 1 receptor family. This receptor specifically binds interleukin 18 (IL18), and is essential for IL18 mediated signal transduction. IFN-alpha and IL12 are reported to induce the expression of this receptor in NK and T cells. This gene along with four other members of the interleukin 1 receptor family, including IL1R2, IL1R1, ILRL2 (IL-1Rrp2), and IL1RL1 (T1/ST2), form a gene cluster on chromosome 2q. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
