The IL17RA Polyclonal Antibody (CAB10052) is a crucial tool for research involving the IL17RA protein, a cell surface receptor known for its role in mediating the inflammatory response. This antibody, generated in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been thoroughly validated for use in Western blotting applications.IL17RA serves as a receptor for the pro-inflammatory cytokine IL-17, playing a key role in immune responses and the development of autoimmune diseases. By targeting the IL17RA protein, researchers can gain valuable insights into its function and its implications in various disease states, particularly in autoimmune disorders and inflammatory conditions.
By utilizing the IL17RA Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can effectively detect and analyze the IL17RA protein in different cell types, allowing for in-depth studies in immunology and disease research. This antibody serves as a valuable tool for understanding the mechanisms underlying immune responses and identifying potential therapeutic targets for treating inflammatory disorders.

Interleukin 17A (IL17A) is a proinflammatory cytokine secreted by activated T-lymphocytes. It is a potent inducer of the maturation of CD34-positive hematopoietic precursors into neutrophils. The transmembrane protein encoded by this gene (interleukin 17A receptor; IL17RA) is a ubiquitous type I membrane glycoprotein that binds with low affinity to interleukin 17A. Interleukin 17A and its receptor play a pathogenic role in many inflammatory and autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis. Like other cytokine receptors, this receptor likely has a multimeric structure. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
