Description
IL 7 Monoclonal Antibody [NYRhIL7] (CPAB0024)
The IL-7 Polyclonal Antibody (CPAB0024) is a valuable tool for researchers studying interleukin-7 (IL-7), a cytokine that plays a crucial role in immune system regulation and development. This antibody, generated in rabbits, demonstrates high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding specifically to IL-7, this antibody enables the detection and analysis of the cytokine in various cell types, making it ideal for investigations in immunology and cancer research.
IL-7 is known for its role in promoting the survival and proliferation of T cells, B cells, and dendritic cells. Dysregulation of IL-7 signaling has been implicated in autoimmune diseases, immunodeficiency disorders, and certain cancers. The IL-7 Polyclonal Antibody provides researchers with a powerful tool to study the expression and function of IL-7 in different pathological conditions, ultimately aiding in the development of targeted therapies for various diseases related to immune system dysfunction.

Background: | IL-7 is a cytokine important for B and T cell development. This cytokine and the hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) form a heterodimer that functions as a pre-pro-B cell growth-stimulating factor. This cytokine is found to be a cofactor for V(D)J rearrangement of the T cell receptor beta (TCRB) during early T cell development. This cytokine can be produced locally by intestinal epithelial and epithelial goblet cells, and may serve as a regulatory factor for intestinal mucosal lymphocytes. Knockout studies in mice suggested that this cytokine plays an essential role in lymphoid cell survival. |
