Description
IL 2 Monoclonal Antibody [YNRhIL2] (CPAB0019)
The IL-2 Monoclonal Antibody (CPAB0019) is designed for research involving Interleukin-2 (IL-2), a key cytokine involved in regulating immune responses. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific to human IL-2 and is validated for use in various applications, including Western blot and immunohistochemistry. IL-2 is a crucial cytokine that plays a central role in the activation and proliferation of T cells, making it a vital component in immune response regulation. Research into IL-2 can provide valuable insights into immune system function and its dysregulation in diseases such as cancer, autoimmune disorders, and infectious diseases.
With its high specificity and reliability, the IL-2 Monoclonal Antibody (CPAB0019) is an essential tool for scientists conducting studies in immunology, oncology, and infectious diseases. Its ability to detect and analyze IL-2 protein expression in various cell types makes it an invaluable resource for advancing our understanding of immune responses and developing targeted therapies.

Background: | IL2 is a secreted cytokine that is important for the proliferation of T and B lymphocytes. The receptor of this cytokine is a heterotrimeric protein complex whose gamma chain is also shared by interleukin 4 (IL4) and interleukin 7 (IL7). The expression of this gene in mature thymocytes is monoallelic, which represents an unusual regulatory mode for controlling the precise expression of a single gene. The targeted disruption of a similar gene in mice leads to ulcerative colitis-like disease, which suggests an essential role of this gene in the immune response to antigenic stimuli. |
