The IL-10 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB17501) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the cytokine IL-10, which plays a critical role in immune regulation. This rabbit-raised antibody is highly specific to human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the IL-10 protein, researchers can accurately detect and analyze its expression in various cell types.IL-10 is a key immunoregulatory molecule that suppresses inflammation and promotes immune tolerance. Dysregulation of IL-10 has been implicated in various diseases, including autoimmune disorders, infectious diseases, and cancer.
By studying IL-10 expression and activity using this antibody, researchers can gain valuable insights into the mechanisms of immune regulation and potentially identify new therapeutic targets for a range of conditions. The IL-10 Polyclonal Antibody is an essential tool for researchers working in immunology, oncology, and other fields where understanding immune regulation is crucial. Its high specificity and sensitivity make it ideal for a wide range of applications, helping to advance our knowledge of IL-10's role in health and disease.

The protein encoded by this gene is a cytokine produced primarily by monocytes and to a lesser extent by lymphocytes. This cytokine has pleiotropic effects in immunoregulation and inflammation. It down-regulates the expression of Th1 cytokines, MHC class II Ags, and costimulatory molecules on macrophages. It also enhances B cell survival, proliferation, and antibody production. This cytokine can block NF-kappa B activity, and is involved in the regulation of the JAK-STAT signaling pathway. Knockout studies in mice suggested the function of this cytokine as an essential immunoregulator in the intestinal tract. Mutations in this gene are associated with an increased susceptibility to HIV-1 infection and rheumatoid arthritis.
