The IκBα Polyclonal Antibody (CAB11165) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the IκBα protein, a key regulator of the NF-κB signaling pathway involved in inflammation, immunity, and cell survival. This antibody, generated in rabbits, has high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications.IκBα is known for its role in controlling the activity of NF-κB, a transcription factor that mediates the expression of genes involved in immune and inflammatory responses. By targeting IκBα, researchers can better understand the regulation of NF-κB signaling and its implications in various pathological conditions, including cancer, autoimmune diseases, and inflammatory disorders.
The IκBα Polyclonal Antibody is a powerful tool for detecting and analyzing IκBα levels in different cell types, making it an essential resource for studies in immunology, cancer research, and inflammation. By studying the function of IκBα, researchers can gain insights into the mechanisms underlying immune regulation and potentially identify new therapeutic targets for various diseases.
Product Name:
IκBα Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB11165
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit

Human,Mouse
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-317 of human IκBα (NP_065390.1).
This gene encodes a member of the NF-kappa-B inhibitor family, which contain multiple ankrin repeat domains. The encoded protein interacts with REL dimers to inhibit NF-kappa-B/REL complexes which are involved in inflammatory responses. The encoded protein moves between the cytoplasm and the nucleus via a nuclear localization signal and CRM1-mediated nuclear export. Mutations in this gene have been found in ectodermal dysplasia anhidrotic with T-cell immunodeficiency autosomal dominant disease.
