The IDH3A Polyclonal Antibody (CAB14650) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the IDH3A protein, an enzyme involved in the citric acid cycle and cellular metabolism. This antibody, raised in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and has been rigorously tested for use in Western blot applications.IDH3A plays a crucial role in generating energy for cell growth and proliferation, making it a promising target for cancer research and metabolic studies. By detecting and quantifying IDH3A protein levels in various cell types, this antibody enables researchers to gain insights into the mechanisms underlying metabolic pathways and potential therapeutic interventions.
The IDH3A Polyclonal Antibody is essential for investigating the role of IDH3A in cellular metabolism, cancer progression, and metabolic disorders. Its high specificity and sensitivity make it an indispensable tool for advancing our understanding of IDH3A function and its implications for human health.

Isocitrate dehydrogenases catalyze the oxidative decarboxylation of isocitrate to 2-oxoglutarate. These enzymes belong to two distinct subclasses, one of which utilizes NAD(+) as the electron acceptor and the other NADP(+). Five isocitrate dehydrogenases have been reported: three NAD(+)-dependent isocitrate dehydrogenases, which localize to the mitochondrial matrix, and two NADP(+)-dependent isocitrate dehydrogenases, one of which is mitochondrial and the other predominantly cytosolic. NAD(+)-dependent isocitrate dehydrogenases catalyze the allosterically regulated rate-limiting step of the tricarboxylic acid cycle. Each isozyme is a heterotetramer that is composed of two alpha subunits, one beta subunit, and one gamma subunit. The protein encoded by this gene is the alpha subunit of one isozyme of NAD(+)-dependent isocitrate dehydrogenase.
