The IBSP Polyclonal Antibody (CAB16220) is a valuable tool for researchers studying Integrin-Binding Sialoprotein (IBSP), a key protein involved in bone formation and mineralization. This antibody, generated in rabbits, demonstrates high specificity and sensitivity for detecting IBSP in human samples, making it an excellent choice for Western blot analysis.IBSP is known for its role in promoting the adhesion and differentiation of osteoblasts, cells responsible for building and maintaining bone tissue. By targeting IBSP, researchers can gain insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying bone development and turnover, as well as potential therapeutic strategies for bone-related disorders like osteoporosis.
The IBSP Polyclonal Antibody offers researchers a reliable tool for investigating the function and regulation of IBSP in various cell types and experimental conditions. Its versatility and quality make it a valuable asset for studies focused on skeletal biology, tissue engineering, and regenerative medicine.
Product Name:
IBSP Polyclonal Antibody

CAB16220
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit

Human,Mouse,Rat
Immunogen:
A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence within amino acids 1-100 of human IBSP (NP_004958.2).
The protein encoded by this gene is a major structural protein of the bone matrix. It constitutes approximately 12% of the noncollagenous proteins in human bone and is synthesized by skeletal-associated cell types, including hypertrophic chondrocytes, osteoblasts, osteocytes, and osteoclasts. The only extraskeletal site of its synthesis is the trophoblast. This protein binds to calcium and hydroxyapatite via its acidic amino acid clusters, and mediates cell attachment through an RGD sequence that recognizes the vitronectin receptor.
