The Human TTR (Transthyretin) ELISA Kit is a precision assay developed for the quantitative measurement of transthyretin levels in human biological samples. Transthyretin, a transport protein primarily synthesized in the liver, contributes to the transport of thyroxine and retinol-binding protein in the bloodstream. Alterations in transthyretin levels have been associated with various health conditions, including familial amyloidosis, senile systemic amyloidosis, and various neuropathies, making it a valuable biomarker for diagnosing and monitoring these disorders. This ELISA kit provides a reliable platform for researchers and clinicians to assess transthyretin concentrations accurately, aiding in disease diagnosis, prognosis, and therapeutic monitoring.
By quantifying transthyretin levels, researchers can gain insights into systemic amyloidosis, neurodegenerative diseases, and other conditions related to transthyretin dysfunction. With exceptional sensitivity and specificity, the Human TTR ELISA Kit ensures precise and reproducible results. Manufactured under stringent quality control standards, this kit offers robust performance and user-friendly operation, making it an ideal choice for research studies focused on transthyretin-related diseases, clinical diagnostics, and personalized medicine approaches.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human TTR. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human TTR and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human TTR, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Human TTR. You can calculate the concentration of Human TTR in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
