The TSH ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative detection of Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) levels in various human biological samples.
TSH is a critically important hormone involved in the regulation of metabolic processes, integral in the stimulation of thyroid hormone production and release. It plays a significant role in the body's metabolic activities and disturbances in its levels can lead to various conditions like hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism. Accurate measurement of TSH is imperative for understanding its role in metabolic regulation and for the development of effective therapeutic strategies. Assay Genie's TSH ELISA Kit offers exceptional sensitivity and specificity, ensuring reliable and reproducible results. Manufactured under stringent quality control standards, this kit ensures robust performance and is easy to use, making it an excellent choice for both research and clinical applications. Trust Assay Genie's TSH ELISA Kit for accurate and reliable quantification of this crucial biomarker in your studies.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human TSH. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human TSH and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human TSH, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Human TSH. You can calculate the concentration of Human TSH in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
