Human Steroidogenic Acute Regulatory Protein (STAR) ELISA Kit
The Human Steroidogenic Acute Regulatory Protein (STAR) ELISA Kit is specifically designed for the precise measurement of STAR levels in human serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. With its exceptional sensitivity and specificity, this kit delivers consistently accurate and dependable results, making it an indispensable tool for various research purposes.STAR, also known as StAR, is a key protein involved in steroidogenesis, which is the process of steroid hormone production in the body. This protein is essential for the transport of cholesterol into mitochondria, where it is converted into steroid hormones, such as cortisol, aldosterone, and sex hormones.
Dysregulation of STAR expression can lead to various endocrine disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these conditions and developing potential therapeutic interventions.Overall, the Human STAR ELISA Kit offers researchers a reliable and efficient method for analyzing STAR levels in biological samples, providing valuable insights into steroid hormone production and related disorders.

Intra-assay Precision:
Intra-Assay: CV <10%. 3 samples with low, middle and high level the index were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively.
Inter-assay Precision:
Inter-Assay: CV <12%. 3 samples with low, middle and high level the index were tested on 3 different plates, 8 replicates in each plate.
Stability:
The stability of ELISA kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage conditions. Note: To minimize unnecessary influences on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity and incubator temperatures should be strictly regulated. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same experimenter from the beginning to the end.
