Snail Family Zinc Finger 2 also knownas SNAI2 is a member of the snail C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family. SNAI2acts as a transcriptional repressor which binds to E-box motifs and is as welllikely to repress E-cadherin transcription in breast carcinoma. SNAI2 isimplicated in epithelial-mesenchymal transitions furthermore, it hasantiapoptotic activity.
SNAI2 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 291 amino acids (1-268 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 32.4kDa.SNAI2 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
