The Human SEPP1 (Selenoprotein P) Plasma ELISA Kit is specifically designed for the quantitative detection of SEPP1 levels in human plasma samples. This kit offers high sensitivity and specificity, ensuring accurate and reliable results for a variety of research applications.SEPP1 is a key selenoprotein involved in the transport and regulation of selenium in the body, playing a critical role in antioxidant defense and immune function. Abnormal SEPP1 levels have been associated with various health conditions, including thyroid disease, cardiovascular diseases, and cancer, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these diseases and potential therapeutic interventions.
With easy-to-follow protocols and efficient performance, the Human SEPP1 Plasma ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is an essential tool for researchers looking to explore the role of SEPP1 in health and disease.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human SEPP1. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human SEPP1 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human SEPP1, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Human SEPP1. You can calculate the concentration of Human SEPP1 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
