Human PTGS2/COX-2 (Prostaglandin Endoperoxide Synthase 2) CLIA Kit
The Human PTGS2 (COX-2) Prostaglandin-Endoperoxide Synthase 2 CLIA Kit is a highly sensitive and specific assay designed for the detection of PTGS2 levels in human samples such as serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit provides accurate and reproducible results, making it an essential tool for research in various fields.PTGS2, also known as COX-2, is an enzyme involved in the production of prostaglandins, which play crucial roles in inflammation and pain signaling.
Dysregulation of PTGS2 has been linked to various diseases, including cancer, arthritis, and cardiovascular disorders. Therefore, measuring PTGS2 levels can provide valuable insights into disease pathogenesis and therapeutic development.Whether studying the role of PTGS2 in inflammatory pathways or exploring its potential as a therapeutic target, the Human PTGS2 Prostaglandin-Endoperoxide Synthase 2 CLIA Kit offers researchers a reliable and efficient tool for their experiments.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human PTGS2/COX-2. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human PTGS2/COX-2 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human PTGS2/COX-2, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Human PTGS2/COX-2. You can calculate the concentration of Human PTGS2/COX-2 in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
