The Human PRSS2 (Protease, Serine 2) ELISA Kit is designed for the accurate detection of PRSS2 levels in human samples such as serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit offers high sensitivity and specificity, ensuring consistent and reliable results for a variety of research applications.PRSS2 is a serine protease enzyme that plays a crucial role in various physiological processes, including digestion and inflammation regulation. Dysregulation of PRSS2 has been linked to conditions such as pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these diseases and potentially developing targeted therapies.
With the Human PRSS2 ELISA Kit, researchers can accurately measure PRSS2 levels in human samples, providing valuable insights into its role in disease pathogenesis and progression. This kit is an essential tool for researchers looking to further understand the functions of PRSS2 and its potential implications in human health.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human PRSS2. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human PRSS2 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human PRSS2, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Human PRSS2. You can calculate the concentration of Human PRSS2 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
