Human PEDF (Pigment Epithelium Derived Factor ) CLIA Kit
The Human PEDF (Pigment Epithelium-Derived Factor) CLIA Kit is a highly sensitive and reliable assay designed for the accurate detection of PEDF levels in human samples such as serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit provides precise and reproducible results, making it suitable for a variety of research applications.PEDF is a critical protein that regulates angiogenesis and acts as a neurotrophic factor, playing a key role in various physiological and pathological processes.
Dysregulation of PEDF has been implicated in conditions such as cancer, diabetic retinopathy, and neurodegenerative diseases, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these disorders and exploring potential therapeutic interventions.Overall, the Human PEDF CLIA Kit offers researchers a reliable tool to study the role of PEDF in various biological processes, making it an essential component of any laboratory studying angiogenesis and neurodegeneration.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human PEDF. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human PEDF and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human PEDF, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Human PEDF. You can calculate the concentration of Human PEDF in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
