The Human OC (Osteocalcin) CLIA Kit is specifically designed for the quantitative measurement of Osteocalcin levels in human serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. With a high level of sensitivity and specificity, this kit ensures accurate and reproducible results for a variety of research applications.Osteocalcin, also known as Bone Gla Protein (BGP), is a key marker of bone metabolism and is involved in the regulation of bone formation and mineralization. Monitoring Osteocalcin levels can provide valuable insights into conditions such as osteoporosis, bone fractures, and metabolic disorders affecting bone health.
This kit is an essential tool for researchers studying bone biology, osteoporosis, and other bone-related diseases, as well as clinicians monitoring bone health in patients. With its reliable performance and easy-to-use format, the Human OC (Osteocalcin) CLIA Kit is a valuable addition to any laboratory conducting research in the field of bone biology.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human OC/BGP. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human OC/BGP and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human OC/BGP, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Human OC/BGP. You can calculate the concentration of Human OC/BGP in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
