Human NPYR2 (Neuropeptide Y Receptor Y2) ELISA Kit
The Human NPYR2 (Neuropeptide Y Receptor Y2) ELISA Kit is specifically designed for the accurate detection of NPYR2 levels in human serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit offers high sensitivity and specificity, ensuring dependable and consistent results for a variety of research applications.NPYR2 is a key receptor involved in the neuropeptide Y signaling pathway, playing a critical role in regulating appetite, energy balance, and stress response. Dysregulation of NPYR2 has been linked to various metabolic disorders, psychiatric conditions, and neurological diseases, making it a valuable target for research in these areas.
This ELISA kit provides researchers with a reliable tool for quantifying NPYR2 levels, enabling in-depth investigations into the physiological and pathological functions of this receptor. With its user-friendly protocol and accurate results, the Human NPYR2 ELISA Kit is an essential addition to any laboratory studying neuropeptide Y signaling and its implications in human health and disease.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human NPYR2. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human NPYR2 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human NPYR2, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Human NPYR2. You can calculate the concentration of Human NPYR2 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
