The CD47 Monoclonal Antibody (MIAP410) is a cutting-edge tool for researchers studying CD47, a transmembrane protein involved in immune regulation and cancer biology. This antibody, conjugated with PerCP for enhanced detection, is compatible with human, mouse, and rat samples, providing flexibility for a wide range of experimental models. The MIAP410 antibody specifically targets CD47, allowing for precise identification and analysis in diverse cell populations.CD47, also known as the "do not eat me" signal, plays a crucial role in immune evasion and self-recognition processes. Its interaction with the signal regulatory protein alpha (SIRPα) serves as a key checkpoint in the regulation of phagocytosis and immune response modulation.
The CD47 Monoclonal Antibody offers researchers a powerful tool to investigate the functions of CD47 in various biological contexts, including cancer immunotherapy, autoimmune diseases, and tissue regeneration studies.By elucidating the mechanisms underlying CD47 signaling, researchers can uncover new therapeutic targets and strategies for manipulating immune responses in the context of cancer and other diseases. The application of the CD47 Monoclonal Antibody in flow cytometry, immunofluorescence, and other assays provides valuable insights into the complex interplay between CD47 and immune cells, advancing our understanding of immune regulation and therapeutic interventions.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. The amount of the reagent is suggested to be used 5 µL of antibody per test (million cells in 100 µL staining volume or per 100 µL of whole blood). Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use.

Background:
CD47, also known as Integrin-Associated Protein (IAP), is a membrane protein of about 50 kD with an IgV-like extracelluluar domain, a five membrane-spanning segment and a short terminal cytoplasmic region. It is widely expressed on many cell types and often associated with beta 3 integrins. It has been reported that CD47 functions as a self marker. Red cells lacking CD47 were rapidly cleared from the bloodstream by splenic macrophages. By binding to SIRPα, CD47 controls hemostatic innate immune functions, such as phagocytosis and cell trafficking.
