Human MCP/CD46 (Membrane Cofactor Protein) ELISA Kit
The Human MCP (CD46) Membrane Cofactor Protein ELISA Kit is a highly reliable and sensitive assay designed for the accurate detection of MCP levels in human serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit offers high specificity and precision, ensuring consistent and reproducible results for a variety of research applications.MCP, also known as CD46, is a key regulator of the immune response and plays a crucial role in the complement system. Dysregulation of MCP is linked to various inflammatory and autoimmune disorders, making it an important biomarker for studying these conditions and developing therapeutic interventions.
With its high sensitivity and accuracy, the Human MCP Membrane Cofactor Protein ELISA Kit is a valuable tool for researchers looking to investigate the role of MCP in disease pathogenesis and therapeutic targeting. Upgrade your research today with this innovative kit from Assay Genie.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human MCP/CD46. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human MCP/CD46 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human MCP/CD46, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Human MCP/CD46. You can calculate the concentration of Human MCP/CD46 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
