The Human MBP (Myelin Basic Protein) CLIA Kit is specifically designed for the precise and reliable measurement of MBP levels in human serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. With its high sensitivity and specificity, this kit provides accurate and reproducible results, making it suitable for various research applications.Myelin Basic Protein is a key component of the myelin sheath, essential for the proper functioning of the nervous system. Abnormal levels of MBP are associated with neurological disorders such as multiple sclerosis and other demyelinating diseases.
Studying MBP levels can provide valuable insights into these conditions and aid in the development of potential therapies.Overall, the Human MBP CLIA Kit is a valuable tool for researchers looking to investigate the role of MBP in neurological disorders and explore its potential as a biomarker for disease diagnosis and treatment.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human MBP. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human MBP and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human MBP, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Human MBP. You can calculate the concentration of Human MBP in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
